Ms. Amanda Roe

Amanda was born In Peace River AB but Paddle Prairie Metis Settlement is home. She has worked in many different position for Northland School Division but has been an educational assistant with us for over two years. She also currently works with students who require speech therapy. When asked what she enjoys the most about working at Paddle Prairie School Amanda said "I enjoy working with children. It has always been a passion of mine. It fills my heart to see the children excel and accomplish the goals they set out to achieve. A little progress each day will eventually add up to big results".

When asked to tell us a little about herself Amanda said "there are so  many things in life I enjoy, mainly spending time with my children, grandchildren, family and friends. Many hours in the winter months are spent in the arenas for hockey with my children, nieces and nephews. Visiting and spending time with my family is what's most important to me. Sitting around eating, visiting and sipping coffee or tea. Camping, hunting (cutting meat), berry picking and fishing. Trying my best to keep our family traditions alive."
